Conscious breathing – learn to breath properly

Breathing is a process that a lot of us has taken for granted. Breathing is our life force. We can go a while without food or water but how long can we go without breathing. Conscious breathing will help get you focused and on track. It will help you get rid of stressed and get balanced. It is simple and easy to do. Review this video below and learn how simple it is to learn how to breath.

Before starting the Asanas (as-anas) or the yogic postures, it is vital that you start with the practice of Pranayama (praa-na-yaa-ma) or the yogic breathing exercises. And what is Yogic Breathing (Pranayama) Pranayama is loosely translated as prana (pra-aana) or breathe control. Breathing affects our state of mind. It can make us excited or calm, tense or relaxed. It can make our thinking confused or clear. In the ancient yogic tradition, air is the primary source of life force, a psycho-physio-spiritual force that permeates the universe. Yogic breathing is used in yoga as a separate practice to help clear and cleanse the body and mind. It oxygenates the lungs by getting rid of enormous quantity of carbon dioxide and other toxic gases. It is also used in preparation for asana, the practice of yogic postures and meditation, to help maximize the benefits of the practice, and focus the mind. I love this video, it is very clear, and short – just right for viewing before sitting for 30 mins. of quiet time…. thank you for creating it! (I must admit, the voice is a bit incongruent with the content, as cspace1234nz stated… nevertheless – I love it! Wishing all a peaceful, energized day….

    @CalebHayesInc I think it’s possible that self-hypnosis can be very beneficial. :)

    There is something not quite right about this video.

    The actual content is very good but the practitioner demonstrating seems very sort of….rigid and uptight ??

    yes, but when you are hypnotized by a hypnotist, you are under the influence of the hypnotist.. when you meditate you are under the influence of… cosmos…

    I practice yoga and ‘your method’ frequently. I’m getting negative reactions from ‘your method’ (though seems convenient and doesn’t require hips of practice, just social courage!) :-)

    Wow,that was amazing, i’m easily hypnotized though, and although i’m not trying to say there is a deffinant connection, meditation is much like hypnotizing yourself.

    I know another way of getting rid of toxic gases, but I’d probably get kicked out of yoga class for doing it too loud. :D
